How do I change or hide my name?

First, please note that Elegy campaigns must be tied to a single individual, and they must have their full name appear on the campaign. Elegy campaigns cannot be used anonymously; we have this policy in place to prevent fraud and promote transparency. 

This also helps your donors feel more comfortable contributing by showing them who is collecting the funds, and gives them a point of contact in case they have any questions. 

Please also note that if your account is connected to a Facebook profile, you won't be able to edit your name without disconnecting your Facebook profile first. Or, you can update your name on Facebook, then follow these steps to update the name on Elegy. 

To change your name, please:

1. Sign in to your Elegy account at https://www.elegyapp.com/
2. Click your name at the top-right of the screen.
3. Click 'Account Settings'.
4. Edit your name and click 'Save Settings' at the bottom of the screen.
